Mandate :
Generate awareness and social dialogue that positions H&M as the gift giving destination during the holiday gift buying season.

Solution :
Speed Experiential Marketing brought forth a social strategy to engage consumers and reward them for participating as a Twitter follower of @hmcanada. Across 5 major markets, a 3 week Twitter-hunt was built and delivered. The social media campaign was supported by pre-promotion on twitter, facebook and collateral at retail. Any loyal or new follower could establish the physical location of the “H&M Holiday Gift Givers” through solving simple clues. By being the first to find them, each winner was rewarded with a gift in a wrapped, branded gift-box from H&M, including a discount against future purchases.  Twit-pics of winners were posted with an announcement of a shift in clues for a new mystery location. Winners names were collected with contact info and entered to a draw for a $50 H&M gift card awarded in each city.
